Poppins Payroll Company, LLC ("Poppins") Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") is designed to provide a clear understanding of the information Poppins collects and how Poppins uses it to provide its services and give users a better experience. It applies to any users of this web site (the "Site"), and any users of the services provided by Poppins through the Site and via telephone, email and mail (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Site or the Services, you consent to the collection, storage, use and disclosure of your personal information and other information as described in this Privacy Policy.

  1. Information Collected by Poppins. Poppins collects both "Personal Information" and "Non-Personal Information" about users of the Site and the Services. As used herein, “Personal Information” means information that can be used to contact or identify you, such as your full name and email address, and information that is linked to such information. "Non-Personal Information," as used herein, means information that cannot be used to contact or identify you and is not linked to information that can be used to contact or identify you and includes passively collected information about your activities on the Site, such as usage data, to the extent that information is not linked to your Personal Information. Those who access and browse the Site without registering are referred to herein as "Site Visitors". All users who register with Poppins are referred to herein as "Registered Users". All Personal Information provided to Poppins by Site Visitors and Registered Users, whether through the Site or by phone, email or mail, will be stored by us. You represent and warrant to Poppins that you have the right and authority to provide Poppins with all Personal Information that you provide about yourself or others.
  2. How Poppins Uses Personal Information. The Personal Information Poppins collects is used (1) to perform and improve the Services, including, without limitation registering your account, setting up your accounts with taxing authorities such as the IRS, and making transfers to and from your bank account and the bank account of your employees; (2) to enhance your experience with Poppins, including, without limitation, providing customer services and technical support; (3) to assist Poppins in verifying the identity of you and your employees; and (4) to help Poppins to communicate with you.
  3. Technical Non-Personal Information. When you visit the Site, Poppins receives the internet protocol ("IP") address of your computer (or the proxy server you use to access the internet), your computer operating system and type of web browser you are using. If you are using a mobile device, Poppins may also receive your mobile device id (UDID), or another unique identifier, and mobile operating system. Poppins may correlate this information with other Personal Information it has about you. Some browsers used to access the Internet may give you the option through “Do Not Track” settings associated with such browsers, to request that a website operator not track your information across its website or other websites. Poppins does not guarantee that it will automatically honor such browser requests, but Poppins will not use your information in a manner that violates this Privacy Policy. In addition, you retain the ability to opt out of certain information sharing as set forth herein.
  4. Cookies and Other Technologies. Like most websites, Poppins and its service providers use cookies and tracking pixels to track Site usage and trends, customize your experience on the Site and improve the quality of the Services. A cookie is a tiny data file that resides on your computer, mobile phone, or other device, and allows Poppins to recognize you when you return to the Site using the same computer (or mobile device) and web browser. You can remove or block cookies using the settings in your browser, but in some cases doing so may impact your ability to use the Site. Tracking pixels do not identify individual users and the analysis of data obtained by tracking pixels is performed on an aggregate basis.

  6. How Poppins Uses Non-Personal Information. Poppins may use the Non-Personal Information it collects to help it improve the Services and customize the user experience, such as by providing targeted useful features and promotions based on the type of Service you seek. Poppins may also aggregate the information collected via cookies and similar technologies to use in statistical analysis to help Poppins track trends and analyze patterns in the use of the Site.
  7. How Poppins Shares Information. In addition to using the information collected by Poppins for the purposes described above, Poppins may also share your Personal Information with various third parties, as follows: (a) Poppins shares Personal information with the financial institutions of Poppins, you and your employees, the IRS, and state and local tax agencies; (b) Poppins shares Personal Information with vendors who perform services on behalf of Poppins, including without limitation, vendors who perform verification checks and vendors who process credit and debit transactions; and (c) Poppins will share Personal Information as required by law or for reasons of safety. This Privacy Policy does not limit Poppins’ use or disclosure of any Non-Personal Information, such as information passively collected from your computer via cookies, web beacons, or standard logging of website activity. If you do not wish to share this information with Poppins, then you should take steps to limit the passive collection of data about your activities on the Site, for example, by changing your browser settings to disable cookies. In the event Poppins goes through a business transition such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of Poppins’ assets, your Personal Information may be among the assets transferred. You acknowledge and consent that such transfers may occur and are permitted by this Privacy Policy, and that any acquirer of Poppins or that acquirer's affiliates may continue to process your Personal Information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.
  8. Communications From Poppins. By becoming a Registered User, you are consenting to receive certain email communications from us, such as special offers, tips and advice, notifications, customer surveys, and administrative notices. You have a choice at any time to stop Poppins from sending you emails for these purposes by sending Poppins an email at customercare@poppinspayroll.com. Please note that despite any indicated email marketing preferences, Poppins may send you administrative emails regarding Poppins, including, for example, notices of updates to Poppins’ Privacy Policy or relevant tax or payroll information.
  9. Personal Information After Account Closure. If you close your account, Poppins may, in accordance with applicable law, delete any or all of your account information without liability or Poppins may retain information related to you for business purposes, if required by law or in connection with its normal document retention procedures. Poppins disclaims any liability in relation to the deletion or retention (subject to the terms herein) of information or any obligation not to delete the information
  10. Collection of Information from Children. The Site and the Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 17. Accordingly, Poppins does not knowingly collect, either online or offline, personal information from individuals under the age of 17.
  11. Protection of Information. Poppins has implemented industry-recognized safeguards to help protect your information from unauthorized access, including, without limitation: (a) the use of SSL (Secure Socket Layer); (b) the use of encryption technology to protect sensitive information; (c) the use of firewalls to protect against unauthorized access of Poppins’ systems; and (d) the requirement of a password to access online accounts.

HOWEVER, THIS IS NOT A GUARANTEE THAT SUCH INFORMATION MAY NOT BE ACCESSED, DISCLOSED, ALTERED, OR DESTROYED BY BREACH OF SUCH FIREWALLS AND SECURE SERVER SOFTWARE.   12. Links to Other Websites. Poppins may provide links to other web sites that Poppins believes may be of interest to its users. However, Poppins is not responsible for the privacy practices employed by those web sites, and Poppins is not responsible for the information or content they contain. This Privacy Policy does not apply to such third-party web site, which may have its own privacy policy.
  13. Changes to the Privacy Policy. Poppins reserves the right to change this policy at any time. You should periodically check the privacy policy on the Site for updates. Your use of the Site or the Services after such effective date will constitute acceptance by you of such changes.
